Description

Linda Fleming presents A Library of Ideas, an exhibition at the Marilyn Citron O’Rourke Art Gallery at the Benicia Public Library, March 1 through April 13, 2026. Reception Sunday, March 22, from 3-5PM. The exhibit showcases the work of Linda Fleming, an American sculptor known for lattice-like constructions. Featuring maquettes, three-dimensional drawings made of wood and paperboard, the exhibition offers insight into Fleming’s creative process, tracing the evolution from studio models to monumental outdoor sculptures. These works explore structure, geometry, perception, and the poetics of space, revealing how thought and the everyday intersect in forms feeling both intimate and expansive.
