Even a little rain couldn’t stop the fun! On a drizzly October Saturday, SOMA residents gathered—umbrellas in hand and spirits high—for the SOMA Pet Costume Contest, hosted by the SOMA West Neighborhood Association. Neighbors came together to celebrate Halloween in the most adorable way possible—by dressing up their furry, feathered, and even scaly friends in creative costumes. From tiny superheroes and spooky skeletons to pumpkin pups and dinosaur cats, the park was alive with laughter, wagging tails, and the kind of joyful chaos only pets can bring. The event was named in honor of Deborah Benedict, a long time SOMA Resident who has helped shaped our amazing community!
