Description: Come experience the magic of light as seen through the camera lenses of some of the North State's finest photographers, featured in the Capturing the Light-The Art of Photography exhibit, September 12-27, held in the Tehama Arts Gallery, 238 Oak St., Red Bluff. Open to photographers residing in California's North State region. This collection of photographic art images will explore and showcase the beauty, emotion and power of light across all genres of photography, reflecting each artist's unique perspective and creative vision. Meet the artists at the opening reception, Friday, September 12, 5:30- 8 pm. The event will include a People's Choice Award, where attendees can vote for their favorite photographic artwork. This QuickBooks Series is for entrepreneurs and business owners in the beginning stage of bookkeeping (i.e., planning, have not yet purchased their system, or have purchased but not using). The trainer will guide you through the basics of accounting from identifying the best QuickBooks version for your business, to setting up your system, managing accounts, and using financial reports to manage your day-to-day activities. This 4-weeks, 2 hours per week series includes 4 focus areas: Week 1: October 8: Accounting Basics & Getting Started with QuickBooks - Training includes: Basics of accounting, identifying the QuickBooks version that is best for your business, and setting up your company and chart of accounts in QuickBooks. Call or email to have the registration link sent to you: 530-824-5550 or info@corningcachamber.org Vehicles from 1900 to the Present will be judged in Stock and Modified, provided there is a minimum of five (5) judged entries per category. Cash Awards are given for the top entry in each, there are also Best of Show and Peoples' Choice Awards. We are seeking SPONSORS for all the award categories, and they will be recognized with their logo and signage at the show. Also on the Car Show side, there will be live music, 5 food & beverage vendors, as well as the Beer Garden. And new this year will be the Knights of Columbus Cornhole Tournament. On Friday evening, a Cruise Night Show 'n Shine & Mixer will be held in downtown Corning.
