More informationComing Out Day Festival
Date: 2026-10-11T11:00
Description: The River District Community Foundation is proud to announce the celebration of the Third Annual Coming Out Day Festival and invite you to join us on October 11, 2026 at Township 9 Park. The mission of Coming Out Day is to create a sense of community and promote LGBTQ+ visibility while connecting community members with mental health services and support. Coming Out Day has taken place in the evening in the past, but this year we are excited to have a DAY PARTY! This year’s event will be kid and puppy friendly so bring your friends, chosen family, furry friends, and allies. Coming Out Day brings together local LGBTQ+ businesses, vendors, makers, artists, exhibitors, and creatives to sell their wares and local nonprofits to share resources. This event is a celebration and an opportunity to connect community members with physical, mental, and sexual health resources while strengthening the LGBTQ+ community here in Sacramento. Coming Out Day supports the local creative economy by hiring drag performers, comedians, and musicians for a lively celebration of fierce authenticity.
