Description: Join us for a talk by eminent Los Gatos Physician and art collector, Dr. Josel Cabaccan. Dr. Cabaccan serves on the acquisitions committee of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France. Pieces from his own collection have been featured in the Venice Biennale 2022 and 2024, Louisiana Museum 2018-2019 and 2023, Musee d' Art Moderne de Paris 2023 - 2024, Centre d'Art La Malmaison de Cannes 2020, and published in Yayoi Kusama "Everyday I Pray for Love" and the upcoming "Anthology of drawings by Luc Tuymans" 2026. He frequently travels to art fairs such as Art Basel and Frieze and international and local art exhibitions, which he highlights on his Instagram @ an_art_throb. Description: These meetings are facilitated by an experienced and licensed geriatric nurse practitioner, offering information and social-emotional support to family members caring for a loved one with dementia. This community program is made possible by the Susan and Charles Berghoff Foundation (fact sheet attached). Our special focus is Lewy Body disease and related dementias (LBD). LBD is second only to Alzheimer's dementia in terms of prevalence. LBD is characterized by cognitive, behavioral, movement and autonomic system problems, which worsen over time, making for a very difficult journey for people with LBD and their caregivers.

Description: The Planning Commission performs duties and exercises power and authority with regard to planning, subdivisions, zoning, zoning administration and other land use regulatory controls as prescribed by ordinance and state law. The Planning commission consists of seven (7) residents of the Town of Los Gatos, each serving a 4-year term. Applicants are asked by Council to demonstrate knowledge of the Town Code and its land use and planning policies. The Commission has several standing committees and individual Planning Commissioners also represent the commission on a number of Council-appointed committees. Committee terms are for 1 year and are appointed by the Planning Commission Chair. The Planning Commission meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, in the Town Council Chambers at 7pm. Commission meetings are broadcast live on KCAT-15. Live and archived videos are also available online. All meetings are open to the public.
