Over his extraordinary career, Lawrence has performed with giants such as McCoy Tyner, Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Woody Shaw, Elvin Jones, Buster Williams, and Pharoah Sanders. His sound channels the spirit of John Coltrane while remaining unmistakably his own—expansive, soulful, and spiritually charged.
