For the past twelve years, we have been able to provide Mock Interviews to our students. These can only be accomplished through the support of our community partners and HCA alumni. Mock Interviews are scheduled for Thursday, April 2nd, Thursday April 9th and Thursday April 16th this year - and they will all be in person. We will set up rooms where you will be paired with one to three other professionals. Then a student will join you for their interview. Students will rotate through your room until the scheduled time is up. Typically you spend about 5-7 minutes with each student, then use five minutes to write up feedback, and then another student will join you. We will be providing the interview questions and rubrics for your feedback.

St. Bernadette’s Church, 2555 Country Club Boulevard, Stockton, will serve as the venue for this event to raise revenue to support scholarships for youth with blindness or low vision. CCBVI is the only agency in San Joaquin County that offers specialized services that provide the tools to empower and inspire people who are blind or have low vision to achieve their full potential. Tacos and Tequila remembers Ron Valverde. Ron's selfless service with Community Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired spanned more than five decades. He did it all: board member, volunteer, staff member, friend. He touched more lives than anyone can count. Ron lives in everyone's heart.
