Description: Regular meetings of the Half Moon Bay City Council are on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 7 PM. The agenda contains a brief description of each item to be considered. Those wishing to address the City Council on any matter not listed on the Agenda, but within the jurisdiction of the City Council to resolve, may raise their hand during the Public Forum portion of the Agenda and will have a maximum of three minutes to discuss their item. Those wishing to speak on a Public Hearing matter will be called forward at the appropriate time during the Public Hearing consideration. Meetings will be hybrid, in-person at the Ted Adcock Center and conducted via Zoom Webinar and live Spanish interpretation will be available within the Zoom platform. Free and open to the public, Saturday, April 18, noon to 5 p.m., at the Odd Fellows Lodge: A Legendary Retrospective of Galen Wolf (1889–1976). 2 PM presentation: Introduction to Galen Wolf, his works, and reading of his stories. More than 50 pieces by renowned local artist Galen Wolf will be on display during this one-day show. There may be a few for sale. An accomplished storyteller as well as a talented artist, Galen acquired his knowledge of the Coastside's history firsthand, through his own experiences and those of his family and friends. Galen painted the California Missions in the 1930s, worked as a WPA artist in the early 1940s, and developed a unique style of painting he called “mosaic” in the 1950s. He was a founding member of Thirty and One Artists, the Society of Western Artists, and, more locally, the Spanishtown Historical Society.
