Description: Hemet Valley Art Assoc.'s biggest event of the year, our 19th Annual Evening of Art will be held at the Hemet Public Library in Hemet on April 18, 3-6 pm. The afternoon of the the event, student art, curated by their teachers, are blind judged in 5 categories: Painting-2D, Other Media - 2D, Photography, Digital Art, and 3D Art. In a ceremony that evening, cash awards are presented to the 1st-4th place winners. The students' art is on display as is art from the association's gallery on Harvard. There's a basket raffle, silent auction, and live artist demonstrations throughout the evening. Hors d'oeuvres and wine are provided. Tickets $15. You can pick yours up at the gallery @144 N. Harvard, Tue-Sat., 10:00 am-4:00 pm. up until the day before the event or get them at the door at no additional charge. Your attendance helps fund the event for next year.
