Connect with nature and go GREEN at this FREE fun event! We start at 10 am with activities for the kiddos, live music, and vendors for food, plants, gifts, art and more! Children will make origami ladybugs and Noodle Necklaces, handle worms and compost, plant sunflowers, blow on bubble baskets, sort trash, paint 'Earth Day Rocks!' and visit the fun-filled Children’s Garden. Enjoy music by Vic Moraga on guitar, Monte Vista’s Ukulele Club, and Mission Meadows Kids College Dance. This year we welcome a new addition - the Amplified Earth Teen Band Showcase from 1 to 3 pm. Experience our nine Ricardo Breceda sculptures, starting with the slithering Sea Serpent in the Children’s Garden. Our GrowGetters Plant Sale includes succulents, flowers, veggies, herbs, and gardening advice. Check out our Garden Shop filled with crafts, snacks, plants, and treats for all. Take a break and buy a tasty BBQ lunch and beverages from Amigos de Vista Lions. Vendors will line the driveway and offer environmentally friendly information as well as tasty treats, art, and crafts. Vendors application is on the website and due by April 1; join us for a fun community day! Volunteers are welcome!
