More informationA Century of Stars and Stories: Celebrating 100 Years of the HBUHSD Auditorium
Date: 2026-04-18T18:00
Description: HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - To celebrate the milestone of the historic Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) Auditorium turning 100 years old in 2026, and to commemorate 10 decades of shows and performers, HBUHSD is set to host the show “A Century of Stars and Stories” on April 18, 2026 at 7:00pm, with a welcome reception beginning at 6:00pm. The HBUHSD Auditorium was the first building to be constructed on the new Huntington Beach High School (HBHS) campus in 1926. Architects Allison and Allison designed the auditorium in the Lombard Romanesque Revival style with a Mediterranean influence, which included the 120-foot bell tower, an iconic and well-known feature on HBHS’s campus. The auditorium has hosted thousands of performances, assemblies, and countless awards ceremonies for schools throughout HBUHSD, and has served as a scenic backdrop for film. “The Century of Stars and Stories” show will feature exquisite acts reflecting historical events from 10 decades, crafted to entertain, inspire, and engage the community. This special event will showcase artists who have previously graced the stage, along with current students who regularly perform in the auditorium. Audiences will be treated to performances showcasing musical theatre, dance, orchestral music, digital filmography, popular music, and more, all woven together with a well-curated historical narrative. While we get ready to honor a century of artistic excellence on a stage where generations have found their voice, we will also be offering sponsorship opportunities to raise funds to renovate the auditorium's Green Room, the creative heart where every performance begins. As we celebrate 100 years, we invite our community of alumni, families, and arts advocates to help us preserve this legacy and invest in the next generation of performers. Celebrate with us at “A Century of Stars and Stories” on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 7:00pm at the historic HBUHSD Auditorium located at 1905 Main Street, Huntington Beach, CA. Arrive at 6:00pm to enjoy delicious small bites and live music. During intermission, step outside to enjoy celebratory cake and more live music under the stars.

More informationNU Speaker Series: Productivity Begins at the End
Date: 2026-04-22T23:00:00Z
Description: Most professionals begin their day in reaction mode. The laptop opens, email floods in, the calendar takes over, and within minutes, the day feels like it belongs to everyone else. But what if your morning isn’t determined at 8:00 a.m.? What if it’s decided at 4:45 p.m. the day before? In this engaging and practical webinar, you’ll discover why productivity is built on preparation rather than motivation. Instead of relying on willpower or hoping tomorrow will feel different, you’ll learn a deliberate shutdown sequence that reduces mental clutter, protects focus, and strengthens follow-through. When you close your day with intention, you give your future self clarity instead of chaos. If your mornings feel rushed, scattered, or dictated by inbox demands, this session will help you reset your approach. Walk away with a simple, repeatable end-of-day practice that helps you start strong, think clearly, and lead your day rather than react to it.
