More informationHelp Build the Next Chapter of Castle Park
Date: 2026-04-07T00:00:00
Description: For nearly 30 years, Castle Park has been a place for imagination, play, and community connection. Built by volunteers in 1996, it has always been a park created by the community, for the community. After decades of use, the original wooden play structures are ready for retirement. Folsom Parks & Recreation will replace the play structures while honoring the park’s original footprint and beloved spirit. Once again, the community will play a key role in bringing Castle Park’s next chapter to life. Volunteers of all skill levels are invited to take part in the Castle Park Community Build and help create a space that will inspire future generations. No construction experience is required, as there are a variety of ways to get involved, from hands-on building to supporting the team behind the scenes. Volunteers must be 10 years of age or older, and those ages 10–13 must participate alongside a parent or guardian.
