Description: Rebuilding Together Sacramento is in need of volunteers to help renovate a Rancho Cordova home as part of Spring Service Day. Rebuilding Together focuses on health, safety, efficiency, and curb appeal. Specific projects at this home will include yard work, chain-link fence removal, new fence installation, gate repair, electrical, painting, and more. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome and needed, but we especially encourage skilled volunteers to lend a hand with certain tasks. RSVP required. Click the blue “Respond” button above to sign up for this activity. Meet at City Hall at 7:15am for check-in and kick-off celebration. Free breakfast at City Hall starting at 7:15am for all volunteers. Check-in at City Hall with volunteer organization booth is required before traveling to your volunteer activity. A map and directions for your volunteer project will be provided at check-in. Youth under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by their parent or guardian. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older and volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Emails with additional event details such as shirt pick up and liability waiver dates as well as information from Rebuilding Together Sacramento will be sent as we get closer to May 16th. Volunteers 16 or older must create an account and sign up individually. If you have questions email communityengagement@cityofranchocordova.org.
