This 4-weeks series is designed to teach you how to utilize your financial statements to better manage and understand your business operations, cash flow, and profitability. Focus includes: interpreting and understanding your financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) hands-on exercise and case study; identifying cash flow cycle and how it impacts your business; learning how to calculate and use financial ratios to troubleshoot fiscal dangers, and analyzing trends to improve business performance; using financial tools to make good business decisions for effective spending and break-even analysis; knowing how to think critically when looking at pricing and costs; and developing forecasts and budgetary tools and techniques to improve profit. You can access free individual one-on-one business consulting simultaneously, or after the series.

Holidays on the Homestead at William B. Ide Adobe SHP Saturday, December 13, 11 am – 3 pm. The public is invited to join us for a day of festivities, music, and making ornaments and gifts: • Enjoy living history demonstrations, with staff and volunteers dressed in 1850s clothing to greet visitors. • Visitors can make handmade gifts, including tin punch, pomanders, candles, tops, sachets, and rag dolls. • Warm wassail and treats will be served. • Local musicians will provide entertainment. • Children will clamor to break a traditional Christmas bag! Holidays on the Homestead is fun for families and friends of all ages. Admission for adults is $6, children 3 years and older is $3, and children under 3 are free. Families (up to 5 guests) are $15.

Empire Trio is an exhilarating and uniquely talented classical crossover ensemble, that has been taking concert halls by storm all over the world. Empire Trio features the lush and mesmerizing voice of soprano Erin Shields, the versatile and virtuosic David Shenton on piano and violin. The third member of the trio is the illustriously talented baritone Adam Cannedy.

Training includes National Restaurant Association ServSafe® Exam, Essentials book, Answer Sheet and Certificate. This training is recognized by the California Health Department and fulfills the State of California certification obligations. Learn the importance of food safety practices and how to implement them. The trainer is State certified. Participants must register and purchase books 3 weeks before training, to allow for book delivery and self-study. Seating is limited. Prepayment reserves your seat.
