OCIC is launched the first High School "Leadership Accelerator" Internship Pilot Program. This unpaid summer internship is tailor-made for high school students who want to gain hands-on work experience, develop their leadership skills, and gain insight into entrepreneurship in Oakland Chinatown with AI and digital marketing industry trends. The program will involve rotations among some fantastic agencies including the Oakland Mayor's Office, Oakland Police Department, Alameda County Sheriff's Office, with us OCIC, the Community Benefit District to lead the community efforts. The focus will be on providing support to AAPI businesses in their native language. We can't wait to see the positive impact it will have on the community and the lives of the students involved!
